The West System Mixed 105 Epoxy Resin and 205 Fast Hardener is a mix of five parts 105 Epoxy Resin to one-part 205 Fast Hardener that cures into a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid with excellent bonding and coating properties.
West System 105 Epoxy Resin
The West System 105 Epoxy Resin is a clear, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. It can be cured in a wide temperature range to form a high-strength solid bond with excellent moisture resistance. When mixed at the proper ratio with a WEST SYSTEM hardener, it's an excellent adhesive. Formulated without volatile solvents and does not shrink after curing. It has a relatively high flash point and no strong solvent odour, making it safer to work with than polyester or vinyl ester resins.
West System 205 Fast Hardener
The West System 205 Fast Hardener is a medium-viscosity epoxy curing agent. 205 is used in a majority of situations such as general Bonding, fabric application and barrier coating, It is formulated to perform at lower temperatures and to produce a rapid cure that develops its physical properties quickly at room temperature. The mix ratio is 5 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume. Not intended for clear coating.
