The Abel Vertical Anchor Windlass with Capstan is a high-performance anchoring solution for powerboats and sailboats between 10m and 16m. The vertical design helps keep deck space clear, while the built-in capstan (warping) drum provides extra flexibility for anchoring and general line handling.
Made from high-polish 316 stainless steel, the rope and chain gypsy provide smooth, reliable control when lowering or retrieving your anchor. This unit features a multi-fit marine-grade alloy gearbox and a high-torque 1200W motor. It is suitable for use with 10mm DIN766 chain and 18mm-20mm rope.
