Sharp, light and ready for soft plastics
A 7ft 6in light line outfit, the Shimano Sienna 4000 Catana Soft Bait Combo 7ft 6in 5kg matches the Sienna 4000 FG with the X Fast action Catana graphite rod. Both are built to cover light line situations, from bait fishing to soft plastics, and together they make a sharp team.
The Reel
The general purpose Shimano Sienna 4000 FG Spinning Reel is designed to cover all manner of light line situations, from bait fishing to soft plastic and hardbody lure casting. So if you're just starting out in fishing, or the kids are showing some interest that requires more than a basic handline, the Shimano Sienna 4000 FG Spinning Reel is perfect for you. Finished in a black and red cosmetic, this reel matches great with many of Shimano's fibreglass and graphite rods. Its AR-C spool lip design provides longer casting distances while preventing backlashes and wind knots, and Dyna Balance eliminates wobble during the retrieve for a smoother, more sensitive feel.
The Rod
The Shimano Catana Spinning Rod is every bit as sharp as the Japanese swords it is named after. It is constructed from tough graphite blanks, Hardloy guides and cork and EVA grips, plus graphite reel seats. Whether you spin for Trout or flick soft plastic lures for Snapper, this rod is for you.
