A compact setup for heavier jigging
The Shimano Miravel 4000XG Limitless Jig Spin Combo pairs a lightweight 4000-size spinning reel with a 6ft jigging rod rated for PE3 line and lures up to 200g. The Limitless Jig Spin features a carbon composite blank with Fuji Alconite guides and a Seaguide HC carbon fibre reel seat, while the Miravel 4000XG offers smooth winding, a fast 6.2:1 gear ratio and 11kg of maximum drag.
The one-piece setup is suited to casting and working heavier jigs where responsive rod control and a higher lure rating are required.
The Reel
The Shimano Miravel 4000XG Spinning Reel combines a lightweight CI4+ body with HAGANE Gear, InfinityDrive and SilentDrive for smooth winding and efficient power transmission. The Magnumlite rotor supports a light, responsive feel, while Cross Carbon Drag provides smooth drag performance. X-Protect helps protect key areas from water penetration, and the Anti-Twist Fin supports controlled line management.
The Rod
The Shimano Limitless Jig Spin Rod features a carbon composite blank suited to heavier jigging applications. Fuji Alconite guides and a Seaguide HC carbon fibre reel seat complete the setup, while the custom designed EVA grips provide a comfortable hold during jigging and lure work.
